For the folks that are not really familiar with this area, the Texas Hill Country is some of the most beautiful and historic country in Texas; loaded with scenic sites, places to see and things to do, i.e. Stone Hinge II about 11 miles, Fredericksburg, TX about 22 miles, Kerrville, TX 7 miles, Museum of Western Art, Admiral Nimitz Foundation , abundant craft and art areas, and lots of fabulous places to eat.
Buckhorn Lake Resort is one of the most modern and beautiful RV parks in the country with large concrete pads, paved roads, free Wi Fi hi speed broadband internet (bring your Wi Fi cards for your computer), catch and release from 3 stocked lakes. It is extra clean and in a picture book setting frequented by deer, turkey and other wildlife.

If anyone is interested, I have my photos from our 2007 Alaska trip that I will be glad to show on a TV in the meeting room. Let me know if there is any interest. Tim Millington  (Site 6006)

Buckhorn  offers an adult (18) leisure center complete with big screen TV / card table / nice selections of exercise equipment and a library!

Tuesday and Friday Nights Buckhorn Lake Resort will have a dinner for the park from 6:00PM to 7:30PM price $9.00 to $11.00  menu TBD

Friday night  we will gather in the Roadhouse room at the barn for conversation and maybe some Mexican train

Saturday Breakfast - Buckhorn provides breakfast  8:00  until  9:00   $7.50  Up ... A La Carte     bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, grits, hash-browns  coffee , juice ,water.  Buckhorn Barn     
Saturday Fun and Games will start at 1:30 outside the Barn if the weather is permitting, if the weather is bad we will move inside the barn.

Ladies it’s a Baseball Cap for 2008 

Bring ball cap purple preferred or decorated with purple.

Ladies we'll meet Saturday @ 10 a.m. in the barn to decorate the Cap

If you haven't had time to finish your cap!

We will have stuff to help with decorating.

Sunday Afternoon Pot Luck Dinner - At 5:00 P.M.. Buckhorn will have the outside Bar-B-Que grill ready for cooking. Bring and cook your own meat. Once you cook your meat we will go to the Roadhouse at 5:30 (Our Room)  for our pot luck dinner (bring a dish, vegetable, desert, bread, etc to share) (PS: The Grill will be open at 4:00 if you need a longer cook time)
